About

“Trust is the glue of life. It's the most essential ingredient in effective communication” - Stephen R. Covey

Serene Dogs offers a training method accessible to anyone with an open mind and willing heart.

As an intuitive animal communicator, Linda brings a wealth of skills and experience to help you understand your dog's psyche and transform your relationship. Having worked with animals most of her life, she has specialised in canine communication and behaviour for over 15 years; particularly exploring the human/canine bond.

She provides a unique blend of practical guidance and energy therapies that introduce a different way of interacting with your beloved pets.
This enables you both to relax, promote confidence and create a connection based on trust.

The more relaxed both parties are, the easier and more effective the communication will be. Being in a calm and confident state of mind when interacting with your four-legged friend is one of the most beneficial things you can do for your relationship.

She teaches you how to work with your dog’s instinctual nature to clarify who is the necessary decision maker and re-learn what we may be asking of them from a peaceful perspective.

Once this way of communicating is established it is far easier to help with behaviour issues and any aspect of training.

This is a balanced, holistic approach to help with whatever challenges you may be experiencing, leaving you with information and techniques to last a lifetime.

Building a climate of trust

All dogs are very different yet no matter what shape, size, colour, age, breed or background, they share one major factor with us – and that, is their feelings.

Happily, it is now widely acknowledged that animals feel and exhibit their emotions in various ways, particularly through their behaviour (just like us!).

They certainly think too, having proven cognitive abilities like problem solving skills, associating scent with action and understanding relaxed affection can bring comfort, to name but a few.

But what happens when they get stressed or fearful or confused?..

Rather than engaging in emotional ping-pong, employing a language your dog already understands in a calm, consistent manner creates rapport and holds the space for a much-improved dialogue between you.

My unique blend of tools offer a way to transition your relationship and deepen your co-operative bond. Kindness, patience and respect are all that’s needed.

Once your loving connection is established in this way, it is far easier to re-educate an animal that may be displaying stress-related behaviour issues.

Creating Connection

While the energy modalities may seem unrelated to ‘dog training’ at first glance, they are actually powerful tools that enable us to create behaviour changes through raising our awareness and release unwanted emotions.

When we tune in to the relationship dynamic between ourselves and another we can allow energy shifts that uplift us and improve our connection through a sense of well being and peace.

With over 15 years experience in the behaviour and energy therapies field, it is my passion to help harmonise your shared connection and enjoy the relationship you both deserve.

"Inspirational and enlightening. Linda was like a breath of fresh air coming into the house. Her understanding of what we were looking to achieve was spot on and Chalky is a much happier dog. She has helped us achieve so much with him."

"Linda’s approach is unique & extremely effective because she is focused on the ‘person and dog’ communication – not just the dog!"
